At ALP Synergy Ltd, we were proud to aid the Forest of Dean District Council with their support for rural businesses across the Forest of Dean through the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) a government initiative created to boost productivity, strengthen the rural economy, and build thriving communities.
In September 2022, the Forest of Dean District was identified by DEFRA as an eligible area for REPF investment. This funding was closely linked with the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), with both programmes sharing the same ambition: helping local businesses to grow, innovate, and succeed.
Focus on Food, Farming & Rural Business
The Forest of Dean District Council set out to prioritise support for food, farming, and rural-based businesses. The Rural Business Grant (RBG) scheme provided funding opportunities for:

- Social enterprises
Outcomes of Funded Projects
Every project supported by REPF delivered lasting benefits, including:
- Creation of new jobs
